Here at Samplistic we believe in not following the rules. With good intentions, rules should be broken. Our "Street Team" is the invention of this philosophy. Usually, in the record industry, labels sell their products to distributors, who then sell to the stores, who then sell to the customer. But, there are certain limitations to this process which make it very hard for underground music to get out to all the those who want it. As an independent, artist-owned record label that has seen reasonable success in the college markets, we've found that many individuals, across America and abroad, have "felt" what we are doing here enough to offer their support. While this was always so motivating and very much appreciated, we found it very tough to organize these helping-hands in an effective way. But now, we we've found a way. Here's how it works: Sign up as a member of our street-team. You will then be eligible for purchasing our music at "distributor prices" ($5 per CD) provided you order in small-bulk quantities (10 of a title at once). You will then be able to sell these CD's at independent music shops, on consignment, or to anyone else for that matter. You will be given promotional materials (posters, stickers, shirts, etc.) depending on when and what we are promoting.

This way we've effectively organized all of you supporters out there And we're able to put the money that would have gone into the distributor's pocket, into yours instead. Of course, being part of out street-team does not mean that you have to purchase anything; we have always been thankful for those of you who have helped by simply spreading the word about the wonderful Samplistic movement.
